Here at Kemp Ranch, we believe that dogs should do all day what they were breed to do.... so our Golden and Labrador Retrievers Retrieve sticks, romp through the woods and play in the ponds, our Aussies herd the calves, while the Pugs mostly lounge. You will not see Dogs in cages if you come to the ranch… We have a kennel for the dogs where each breed has an inside area (to stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter), and through a dog door a play area outside. Additionally we have larger play areas for the dogs to run and play (and for puppies to romp), in addition to acres of fields, a stand of woods, and 2 small ponds (mostly used by the bigger dogs, but can be fun for the little ones too…).  A staff of full and part time animal lovers care for the dogs, all dogs are current on shots and have vet visits. The AKC recommends buying a dog from a breeder (not from a pet store, and not from a large scale puppy operation). We are a local breeder of quality dogs offering love and respect to all the animals in our care along with support for new pet owners once you take your new puppy home, and a health guarantee.
